
Cooking with acornsUnder our oak trees are piles of plump, heavy, acorns this year, with hardly any worm holes in them. OMG they look so delicious! HEY! You CAN eat them! They only need to be sorted, dried, shelled, chopped, boiled, drained, reboiled about seven times, dried out, chopped again ... ... and then they taste absolutely terrible!! Don't bother.
